When my oldest was in middle school I volunteered to try my hand at painting the backdrops for her drama club productions, and had a wonderful time creating scenes on the large wall at the back of the stage. This eventually led to me doing some murals within my community. I enjoy the challenge of painting bigger surfaces and love how large images that often seem simple from close up can be so detailed from a far.
